My name is Sarah Campbell and I have worked as a copyeditor, typesetter and editorial manager in London for over ten years. I am a Professional Member of the CIEP, the UK’s professional body for editors and proofreaders.

Over the past five years I have worked with Edinburgh University Press, Brill, Yale University Press, Hurst, and Gingko, among others. Prior to setting up my own business I was managing editor of a suite of peer-reviewed journals, and most recently I worked in publications at the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London.

While I have worked on subjects ranging from risk management to public policy and transport, my background is in Middle Eastern studies. I have a degree from the University of Otago in New Zealand, and I have studied Arabic at SOAS in London and the Lebanese American University in Beirut. During Covid I completed the Diploma in Arabic Language from Al-Maktoum College, Dundee.
